The Standard Sheepadoodle

The Standard Sheepadoodle is our largest size here at I Love My Sheepadoodle. Sizes range from 50 – 90 lbs and stand around 24-27 inches at the shoulder. We blend a purebred Old English Sheepdog and Standard Poodle together. Alternatively we may blend a Standard Sheepadoodle as well to make the F1b blends. They typically have the wavy coat since our Standard Sheepadoodles are either 50% OES or 75% OES. They are mostly hypo-allergenic but their might be some light shedding in the spring as they blow out their extra coat after winter. It’s great time to give them a fresh look with a spring cut.

If you are looking for a larger dog this is for you. However just know that the bigger the dog the more you have to handle. It is very important that you devote time and effort into your puppy training and provide confident clear leadership and guidance for your new Sheepadoodle.

The Sheepadoodle is a very striking dog for beauty and looks. They do love life and have a fun loving, goofy personality. They generally get a long well with other dogs and people. They enjoy companionship. They are smart and keen to please as well. The Old English Sheepdog can sometimes have a bit of a stubborn streak. It does add some personality to your pup, lol, but just take it in stride and keep up the training and leadership and they will follow your lead.

The Sheepadoodle needs moderate exercise and daily free off leash time to run out their zoomies. Having your own fenced-in back yard is super valuable!
